
HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A Henry County teenager who had been reported missing since June 13 has been safely located.
Brookelynn Juree Lyons, 16, returned to her father’s residence in Danville, on the evening of June 16, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
After receiving the update, the sheriff’s office said it notified the Danville Police Department, who dispatched officers to the home.
Officers confirmed that Brookelynn was Lyons.
She had been reported as a runaway juvenile after she was last seen around midnight on June 13.
In a news release, the Henry County Sheriff’s Office thanked the public, media outlets, and law enforcement partners, including Danville Police, for their assistance during the search.

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 16-year-old Brookelyn Juree Lyons.
Lyons is a white female, about 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 127 pounds.
Authorities said she has red hair, hazel eyes, and is known to have a nose ring as an identifiable characteristic.
Lyons was last seen around midnight on June 13 and is considered a runaway, according to the sheriff’s office.
Sheriff Wayne Davis told rbs news now that she may be with her boyfriend in the Danville area.
Deputies said they have searched several locations but have not found Lyons, and ensuring her safety and well-being remains a top priority for them.
Authorities are asking anyone who may have information on Lyons’s whereabouts to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751 or call 9-1-1.
