MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — A storm knocked down a large tree onto two homes and a parked vehicle in the City of Martinsville.

The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m. on July 6 in the 800 block of Banks Road.

No injuries were reported, according to Martinsville Fire & EMS.

Martinsville Police and Martinsville Electric also responded to the scene.

One of the homes lost power after the tree damaged utility lines.

The tree fell during a period of heavy rain and gusty winds.
