COLLINSVILLE, Va. (rbs new now) — Two men were arrested on July 18 following a narcotics investigation and search at an apartment in Henry County.

Deputies responded to an anonymous tip reporting heavy vehicle and pedestrian traffic at an apartment in the 300 block of Maple Drive in Collinsville—activity consistent with suspected drug distribution.

Deputies on scene said they observed multiple vehicles entering the complex and noted suspicious behavior.

A short time later, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle exiting the apartment complex for a registration violation.

During the stop, inconsistencies in statements from the driver and passengers led to a search of the vehicle, which revealed illegal narcotics and paraphernalia.

Authorities said information obtained during the stop prompted deputies to secure and execute a search warrant at the apartment.

Inside, deputies found Javon Lamar Manns, Robert Carrington Brough, and a third person, who was released after being found with no active warrants.
