HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a stabbing that left a woman injured early Friday morning.
The incident came to light in the early hours of July 25 when the Sheriff’s Office was notified that a stabbing victim was receiving treatment at UNC Health Rockingham, located on East Kings Highway in Eden, North Carolina.
According to Sheriff Wayne Davis, the victim, identified as Stacy Baldwin, 36, of Henry County, sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators believe the incident occurred at or near the Kings Court Trailer Park in the Ridgeway area, but have been unable to locate the exact crime scene.
Sheriff Davis said Baldwin was accompanied to the hospital by Howard Martin, 34, who, along with Baldwin, has refused to cooperate with law enforcement.

“Both individuals were uncooperative from the time investigators arrived on scene,” Davis told rbs news now.
Despite the lack of cooperation, deputies and investigators have continued efforts to determine the location of the stabbing, but so far those efforts have been unsuccessful.
The case remains active.
