DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — A man is wanted and another has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in the 100 block of Cooper Street.
At around 3:36 a.m. on July 27, Danville Police responded to the area for a noise complaint.
A street gathering was shut down, and as officers were leaving the scene, a single gunshot was heard, according to authorities.
When officers returned, they said they found 23-year-old Ketasha Fuller of Danville suffering from a gunshot wound.
Fuller was transported to the hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Police said video footage captured at the scene showed Fuller in an argument with a male who then pulled out a handgun and fired a single shot.

The suspect has been identified as 28-year-old Jaiquawn Amos Powell.
He has been charged with second-degree murder and is currently wanted.
Authorities noted that Powell may currently look different from his photo, since he may now have short hair.
Additionally, 33-year-old Darius Damon Dallis Walters has been arrested and charged with accessory after the fact.
The investigation is ongoing.
