HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A drug bust in Axton on Wednesday resulted in the arrest of two men and the seizure of drugs, firearms, and cash.

The operation took place in the 7000 block of Axton Road on August 13, with two individuals found inside the home and multiple people outside at the time of the narcotics search warrant’s execution.

Authorities reported recovering a significant quantity of suspected marijuana, suspected cocaine, two illegally possessed firearms, a large sum of cash and various items consistent with the distribution of narcotics.

Rico Ny’Terious Dalton, 24, of the Axton address, was charged with distribution of 5 pounds or more of marijuana, possession of cocaine, and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance.

He was held on a $5,000 secured bond and has been released.

Marvin Jarvis Dalton, 43, also of the Axton address, was charged with distribution of 5 pounds or more of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.

He was held on a $10,000 secured bond and also has since been released.

The investigation is ongoing.
