HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Two people were flown to the hospital Sunday after a crash near the North Carolina state line in Henry County.

The call came in around 11 a.m. on August 17 for a crash in the 3600 block of Morehead Avenue in Ridgeway.

A white BMW appeared to have run off the road and landed on its side.

According to first responders, both a female and a male were injured in the crash and airlifted to the hospital for treatment.

Their conditions have not been released.

The Ridgeway District Volunteer Fire Department, Henry County Public Safety, and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office responded.

The Virginia State Police are investigating the crash.
