HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A man was reportedly hit by a tractor-trailer early Wednesday morning on Greensboro Road near Joseph Martin Highway.

The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. on August 27 in Henry County.

Henry County Public Safety transported the victim to a hospital.

First responders said the extent of his injuries was not immediately known.

The Virginia State Police are investigating the incident.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Department also responded.
