HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The Southern Virginia Latino Association (SOVALA) will host its 6th Annual Festival Latino of Southern Virginia on Saturday, September 13.

The festival will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Patrick & Henry Community College, 645 Patriot Avenue, Martinsville.

SOVALA is an organization, which aims to connect Latinos with various existing services and create services that do not yet exist.

The free, family-friendly event will feature live music, authentic Latin American cuisine, local vendors, and community resource booths.

In case of rain, festivities will be moved indoors to the P&HCC gym.

Volunteer opportunities, including interpreter roles, are still available.
