DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — The Danville Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating Antonio Devonta Ballard, 28, who is wanted in connection with a burglary and multiple thefts from motor vehicles.

Ballard faces multiple charges, including:

• Four counts of petit larceny
• Five counts of possession of stolen property
• Five counts of entering a vehicle unlawfully
• Five counts of credit card theft
• One count of burglary
• One count of grand larceny
• One count of possession of a controlled substance

The charges follow the recovery of stolen property and documents from thefts linked to a burglary investigation in the 500 block of Edmonds Street, according to authorities.

Police say Ballard is also tied to thefts on Hughes Street, North Hills Court, Garland Street and Schoolfield Drive.
