
DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — A tip from a concerned citizen led to the arrest of a 16-year-old male in connection with a burglary at a Danville business, authorities said on September 11.
Police said the teen was charged with burglary, property damage and grand larceny after officers released surveillance photos of a suspect in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive.
Officers located the juvenile Wednesday in an apartment in the 2500 block of Riverside Drive.
He was taken into custody and is being held at W.W. Moore Detention Home.

This incident remains under investigation.
The Danville Police Department thanked the public for their assistance in this investigation.
The burglary occurred in the early morning hours of August 27 at Super Tobacco and Vape.
An undisclosed amount of cash and various items were taken during the break-in.

DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man following a burglary at a Danville business.
Officers responded to a break-in during the early morning hours of August 27 at Super Tobacco and Vape in the 2800 block of Riverside Drive.
According to police, a male suspect was seen on surveillance video entering the store wearing a gray and black zip-up hoodie, green pants, white shoes and a backpack.

An undisclosed amount of cash and various items were stolen, police said.
