DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — Danville Police are investigating a shooting early Saturday that left a 31-year-old man in critical condition.

Just before 2 a.m. September 20, officers responded to the intersection of Seminole Trail and Thunderbird Circle for reports of a person who had been shot.

The victim was taken to SOVAH Health in Danville before being airlifted to another medical facility, authorities said.

No suspect information has been released.

Investigators are asking residents with doorbell or surveillance cameras in the area to review their footage and contact police with any potential evidence.
