HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A two-vehicle crash in Henry County was confirmed fatal by the Virginia State Police.

The crash was reported shortly before 8 p.m. October 6 on Stultz Road near its intersection with Virginia Avenue.

A 2020 Honda Accord was going west in the eastbound lanes of Stultz Road and struck a 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe head-on, according to state police. 

Police said the driver of the Honda, Gloria Jaan Narsis Bednorski, 36, of Martinsville, was not wearing her seatbelt and died at the scene. 

The crash remains under investigation.
