RIDGEWAY, Va. (rbs news now) — Three people were injured Tuesday evening following a two-vehicle crash in Ridgeway.

Emergency crews were dispatched at 5:24 p.m. to the scene on Kings Mill Road near Morehead Avenue, where a green Chevrolet pickup truck and a black Jeep SUV collided.

Both vehicles sustained extensive front-end damage.

The Ridgeway District Volunteer Fire Department and Henry County Department of Public Safety responded to the scene.

According to Virginia State Police, two individuals were flown to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

A third person, who was visibly injured, refused medical transport.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.

Charges are pending.
