FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A tractor-trailer overturned Thursday night on Route 220 near Pleasant Hill Road, blocking one southbound lane.

The crash happened on October 16 and prompted a response from the Rocky Mount Fire Department, Franklin County Fire & EMS, and the Virginia State Police.

Crews arrived to find the tractor-trailer on its side.

The driver was able to get out of the vehicle and was walking around at the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Southbound traffic was reduced to one lane while crews worked to clear the wreckage.

State police are investigating the crash.
