HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A tractor-trailer hauling milk overturned Monday morning on Greensboro Road near Reservoir Road, about a mile and a half from the North Carolina state line.

The crash was reported shortly before 10 a.m. on October 20.

The Henry County Department of Public Safety said the driver was not injured.

Milk spilled onto the road after the crash, and one southbound lane of Greensboro Road remains closed as cleanup efforts continue.

The Virginia Department of Agriculture was called to the scene due to the milk spill.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Ridgeway District Volunteer Fire Department, and Virginia State Police also responded.

State Police is investigating the crash.
