HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A Bassett man with a prior violent offense is behind bars after deputies executed a search warrant Sunday afternoon at a Collinsville residence reportedly linked to multiple overdoses within 24 hours.
According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies served the warrant on Tahoe Drive around 1:39 p.m. on Oct. 26 following reports of heavy foot and vehicle traffic at the home.
Multiple individuals were detained while deputies searched the property.
During the search, authorities said they found suspected meth, drug paraphernalia, and other items consistent with narcotics use.

Roberto Gomez-Telles, 31, of Woody Circle, was arrested and charged with possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance.
He was taken to the Henry County Adult Detention Center, where he is being held without bond.
Earlier this year, rbs news now reported that Gomez-Telles was arrested in February after a stabbing on Fayette Street in Martinsville.
He was charged at that time with malicious wounding after the 48-year-old male victim was hospitalized with a torso wound.
The Sheriff’s Office said the search and arrest are part of ongoing efforts to address drug-related activity and overdose incidents in the community.
