HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Authorities have identified the mother and soon arrested Wednesday night after a drug raid in Henry County.

The operation took place around 8:30 p.m. on November 5 at 1805 and 1815 Reed Creek Drive following a months-long narcotics investigation conducted by the VICE Unit.

Deputies said the investigation targeted 43-year-old William Maximilino Servin, who had been under surveillance for several months in connection with the distribution of illegal narcotics.

61-year-old Rhonda Marie Hutcherson was also identified as being involved in criminal activity linked to the two residences.

Throughout the investigation, deputies made multiple controlled purchases of illegal drugs, including some within the past month, which confirmed ongoing narcotics activity, officials said.

The SWAT team assisted in safely serving the warrants.

During the searches, investigators said they recovered suspected meth, digital scales, and packaging materials consistent with drug distribution.

Servin and Hutcherson were both arrested and taken to the Henry County Adult Detention Center, where they are being held without bond.

Servin was charged with sale of a schedule I or II drug.

Hutcherson was charged with possession of a schedule I or II drug.

The investigation remains active.

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A mother and son were arrested Wednesday night after deputies executed two narcotics search warrants at two neighboring mobile homes in Henry County.

Sheriff Wayne Davis said the search warrants were served at 1805 and 1815 Reed Creek Drive following a months-long undercover investigation by the sheriff’s office’s VICE unit.

The investigation involved multiple controlled purchases of suspected methamphetamine from both residences.

“This has been a lengthy investigation — it doesn’t just start today,” Sheriff Davis said. “We have bought a quantity of methamphetamine from each of these residences on multiple occasions.”

According to Davis, deputies discovered methamphetamine, digital scales, and other materials consistent with drug distribution inside both homes.

“As a result of this investigation, at the minimum, these individuals will be later indicted by a grand jury for their distribution of methamphetamine,” Davis said. “We just simply don’t have tolerance for the distribution of narcotics here in our community.”

The Henry County Department of Public Safety assisted deputies at the scene to ensure the safety of officers and residents during the search.

Davis said his office has executed more than 60 narcotics-related search warrants since July 2023, part of his ongoing commitment to reducing drug activity countywide.

“This was not a campaign promise or gimmick,” he said. “It’s what we believe in to make Henry County the best place possible. Our team is dedicated and relentless in the pursuit of every criminal — including drug dealers.”

Davis also credited community tips for aiding investigations and encouraged residents to continue sharing information.

Reports can be made anonymously through the Henry County Crime Stoppers line at 276-632-7463 or via the Tip411 app.

One male suspect, believed to be the son, was seen being taken into custody wearing only boxer briefs after the SWAT team arrived unexpectedly to execute the warrants.

“If you’re selling drugs here, you never know when we’re coming, so keep your pants on,” Davis said.
