COLLINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — A new family entertainment and learning space is preparing to open its doors in Henry County.

Grandma’s Place LLC, located at 2432 Virginia Avenue in Collinsville, promises an imaginative indoor playland designed for children up to age 10 and their families.

According to the business’s website, Grandma’s Place will feature more than 3,000 square feet of interactive play areas where children can “make believe, swing, climb, slide, and so much more.”

The center is designed as a “stay and play” environment, where parents and caregivers remain with their children for supervised play sessions.

The facility will include several themed zones, such as a Role-Play Village, Tiny Tots Soft Zone, Little Explorers Area, and a Sensory Space created for children who enjoy quieter play.

In addition to daily play sessions, Grandma’s Place plans to host arts and crafts activities, family games, and themed events each month.

“Grandma’s Place is where curiosity takes flight, imagination sparkles, and every shared day is an adventure,” the website says.

The center aims to create a safe, welcoming space for families to connect and learn through play.

In a November 10 post on social media, the business shared an update on its progress, saying: “Barring unforeseen circumstances, we plan to open our doors the first weekend of December. We are still diligently working, laying carpet, naming buildings, adding artwork, and completing the finishing touches…”

Play sessions are expected to be priced at $15 per child for two hours, which includes one free adult admission.

Additional adults may attend for $5, and siblings can join for $10 each.

The venue will also host birthday parties, special events, and offer membership options for frequent visitors.

Families can follow Grandma’s Place on social media for updates or contact the business directly at 276-403-2764.
