HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now)— Three men have been charged in connection with a residential break-in and the theft of two classic cars from a home in Henry County.

Between November 5 and November 17, Bobby Eugene Leagans, 45, Brent Ray Doss, 38, and William Alfred Doss, 60, allegedly entered a residence in the 2000 block of Stones Dairy Road.

They stole a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro, a 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle, and multiple household items, according to the sheriff’s office.

Within an hour of the break-in being reported on November 17, investigators located the stolen Chevelle.

Deputies continued following leads in an effort to recover the remaining property.

On November 20, a concerned citizen reported a blue Chevrolet Camaro parked in a wooded area off Microfilm Road just inside Patrick County.

Deputies from both the Patrick County and Henry County sheriff’s offices responded and confirmed it was the stolen Camaro.

While processing the scene, deputies said they located Leagans, who was already wanted in Henry County for a probation violation.

When he was taken into custody, investigators say he had the key to the stolen Camaro in his pocket.

Leagans is being held without bond.

He is charged with felony probation violation and two counts of felony grand larceny.

Brent Doss is being held without bond.

He is charged with felony grand larceny, two counts of felony statutory burglary, and misdemeanor petit larceny.

William Doss is being held on a $5,000 secured bond.

He is charged with two counts of felony statutory burglary, felony grand larceny, and misdemeanor petit larceny.

The sheriff’s office thanked the public for the numerous tips submitted during the investigation and credited the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office for its assistance in recovering the Camaro.
