PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Two people were arrested after the Patrick County Sheriff’s Office executed a narcotics search warrant Wednesday morning.

At 9:21 a.m. on December 10, the sheriff’s office tactical team served the warrant at 372 Smith Ranch Road in Ararat.

Wyatt Chase Smith, 27, of the same address, and Abbigale Boyd, 30, of Cana, were taken into custody at the scene.

Smith was charged with possession with intent to distribute meth and possession of firearms while in possession of schedule I or II drugs, both felonies.

Boyd was charged with felony possession of meth.

Deputies said they seized meth, firearms, cash, two vehicles and additional assets, which will be held as evidence.

Smith is being held without bond at the Patrick County Jail.

Boyd was released on a $1,500 secured bond.
