FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A crash left a 22-year-old woman dead late Friday night in Franklin County.

The crash occurred at around 11 p.m. Feb. 13 on Jubal Early Highway, just south of Windridge Road.

Virginia State Police said a 2025 Honda Civic going south crossed the centerline and struck a 2019 Dodge Ram head-on.

The driver of the Honda was identified as Summer Elexis Rosenbaum Tibbits, of Ferrum.

State police said Tibbits was wearing her seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No information has been released about the driver of the Dodge Ram.

The crash remains under investigation.
