HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A 28-year-old Henry County man is facing multiple felony charges after a woman reported she was being held against her will and assaulted.

Deputies responded Feb. 21 to a 9-1-1 call from a female victim who told dispatchers she was being held against her will by her boyfriend, Tyson Me’Shad Bryant Stockton.

The victim reported she had been assaulted and that her phone had been taken to prevent her from contacting law enforcement.

Authorities said that while traveling with Stockton to a family member’s residence, the victim was able to regain access to her phone and call 9-1-1.

She told dispatchers they would be going to the laundromat at Leatherwood Crossing on A.L. Philpott Highway.

Deputies located the pair at that location and detained Stockton without incident.

During the investigation, the victim told deputies she had been severely assaulted the previous night at a residence in the 500 block of Clearview Drive in Henry County.
