HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A vehicle pursuit ended Monday afternoon in the Fieldale area when a car struck a stop sign.

The pursuit came to an end on South River Road at Dogwood Lane, where a silver Toyota Camry crashed.

Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis told rbs news now that the pursuit began outside Henry County.

“The Virginia State Police initiated the pursuit in Franklin County and Henry County deputies assisted State Police once it entered our county,” Davis said.

The Martinsville Police Department also responded to the scene.

Virginia State Police were contacted for additional details, but no further information was available as of Monday evening.
