
MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — A 22-year-old Axton man has been charged after shots were fired inside a Martinsville restaurant early Sunday morning.
Officers responded at 1:39 a.m. March 1 to a report of a fight in progress at Wild Magnolia’s, located at 730 E. Church St.
While en route, police were told that shots had been fired inside the restaurant.
Upon arrival, officers learned the individual who fired the shots had already left the scene.
Authorities said no one was injured.
Investigators processed the scene, collected evidence and interviewed witnesses.

As a result of the investigation, Tanner Crowder was charged with shooting into an occupied dwelling, reckless handling of a firearm, discharging a firearm in the city and shooting in a public place.
Later that day, Crowder was located and arrested by the North Carolina State Highway Patrol in Guilford County.
He was booked into the Guilford County Detention Center on a fugitive from justice warrant and is being held without bond pending extradition.
The incident remains under investigation.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — Police are investigating after shots were fired early Sunday morning at Wild Magnolia on East Church Street.
The Martinsville Police Department responded March 1 to a report of a fight in progress at Wild Magnolia restaurant, located at 730 E. Church St.
While officers were en route, additional information indicated that shots had been fired.

Police told rbs news now gunshots were fired into the ceiling of the business.
No injuries had been reported, and no victims have arrived at local medical facilities, according to police.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office is assisting with the investigation.
Officers remain on scene, and the investigation is active and ongoing.
