HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Authorities are investigating an altercation involving a dirt bike rider and residents at a home on Doyle Road, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

Investigators said a resident reported that a male subject drove up the road on a dirt bike while spinning gravel.

The resident confronted the rider, and an argument occurred between the two.

During the exchange, the suspect allegedly spit on the resident, authorities said.

Investigators also said a 17-year-old female who was present got out of a vehicle to record the incident on her phone.

As the suspect began leaving the area on the dirt bike, he allegedly kicked the teen in the leg while riding away.

Deputies said the incident remains under active investigation.
