HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Three people, including two juveniles, have been arrested following an armed robbery investigation in Collinsville that deputies say stemmed from a planned marijuana sale.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded Friday to a report of an armed robbery at an apartment complex on Spring Drive in Collinsville.

When deputies arrived, they located the individuals involved and took three suspects into custody without incident.

Investigators said the victim reported arranging to meet an individual at the apartment complex to sell marijuana.

While at the location, the victim told deputies he was confronted by two juvenile males, one of whom was armed with an AR-style rifle.

According to the sheriff’s office, the juveniles robbed the victim of a Taurus G3 handgun, a cellular phone and marijuana before fleeing into a nearby residence.
