HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A vehicle pursuit involving a Chevrolet sedan ended with a PIT maneuver Sunday night in Henry County, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

The pursuit occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Meeks Road, approximately half a mile from the North Carolina state line.

The pursuit ended after law enforcement performed a precision immobilization technique, or PIT maneuver, on the Chevrolet sedan, the sheriff’s office told rbs news now at the scene.

The Henry County Department of Public Safety was requested to evaluate the driver after the vehicle was stopped.

The driver was taken to the Henry County Adult Detention Center.
