FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A single-vehicle crash in Franklin County resulted in a fatality on November 10.

The crash occurred at around 1:26 a.m. on Booker T. Washington Highway, just north of Harmony School Road.

According to investigators, a 2012 Honda Accord was going northbound when it veered off the right side of the road and hit a tree.

Police said the driver, Tyler Austin Wade Hale-Camp, 29, of Hardy, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
