MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — The Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce has announced the appointment of Tabatha Martin as its new deputy director, effective June 1.

Martin, a professional with a background in sales, customer service, human resources, and outreach, most recently served as Human Resources Manager at YoungWilliams.

There, she led people-centered initiatives and strategic problem-solving efforts, a news release said.

In her new role, Martin will support the chamber’s president and board of directors in overseeing the education foundation, implementing strategic initiatives, and expanding member services throughout the region.

“We are thrilled to welcome Tabatha to our chamber team,” said Brenell Thomas, President of the Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce. “Her experience, ambition, and dedication to community engagement make her a perfect fit for our organization and the businesses we serve.”
