HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A juvenile was injured during an on-track crash Friday night at Oak Level Raceway in Henry County, Sheriff Wayne Davis confirmed to rbs news now.

According to information provided to rbs news now at the scene, the vehicle caught fire after being struck during the incident.

Members of the Collinsville Volunteer Fire Department and raceway staff extinguished the fire.

The teen was initially treated by Bassett Rescue Squad personnel until crews with the Henry County Department of Public Safety arrived.

The juvenile was then transported to a hospital.
