HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A Virginia State Police trooper was injured in a crash involving a patrol SUV and a Ford F-250 Sunday evening in Henry County.

The crash occurred shortly before 6 p.m. on Fisher Farm Road near Willow Creek Drive.

First responders told rbs news now that the trooper was transported to a hospital.

Emergency crews from the Henry County Department of Public Safety, Ridgeway District Volunteer Fire Department, Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Martinsville Police Department and Virginia State Police responded to the scene.
