
MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — A Danville man was killed and two women were wounded in a shooting early Saturday morning in Martinsville, according to the Martinsville Police Department.
Police said officers were dispatched at 4:16 a.m. to the 400 block of Fayette Street.
When officers arrived, they found D’Sean Jones, 24, of Danville, dead at the scene.
Investigators also found a woman suffering from a gunshot wound at the scene.
At about the same time, a second woman arrived at Sovah Health Martinsville with gunshot wounds.
As rbs news now previously reported, authorities also said at least one vehicle was struck during the incident.
The Martinsville Police Department is processing the scene, collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses.
No suspect information has been released.
Fayette Street will remain closed to through traffic between High Street and Peters Street while investigators process the scene.

Tips to Crime Stoppers are anonymous, and information leading to an arrest and conviction may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,500.
The investigation remains ongoing.

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — One person was killed and at least two others were injured in a shooting early Saturday morning in Martinsville, according to police.
Martinsville Fire & EMS was dispatched at approximately 4:18 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, to the 400 block of Fayette Street.
Martinsville Police told rbs news now at the scene that one person died and two others suffered gunshot wounds.
Police also said at least one vehicle was struck during the incident.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police responded to assist.
The investigation remains in its early stages.
