HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A Henry County Grand Jury has returned 122 felony indictments against 48 people following a 14-month investigation into illegal narcotics distribution and possession, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigations were conducted by the sheriff’s office vice and drug interdiction units and involved controlled substances including methamphetamine, fentanyl, cocaine, heroin, xylazine and other illegal drugs.

The sheriff’s office said the investigations involved developing information, conducting surveillance, gathering evidence and working through the judicial process before the cases were presented to a grand jury.

Authorities said they are continuing to locate and arrest individuals who remain wanted on the indictments.

The following 21 people have been arrested and served with their respective indictments:

• David Scott Bonhams: Distribution of methamphetamine, third or subsequent offense
• Tommy Lee Bowers Jr.: Two counts of distribution of methamphetamine
• Curtis Deon Campbell: Two counts of distribution of cocaine
• Gerardo Lovelton Deshazo: Two counts of distribution of cocaine
• Regina Barnes Gammon: Distribution of methamphetamine
• James Boles Horne: Three counts of distribution of methamphetamine and two counts of endangering the life of a child
• April Lynn Kump: Distribution of methamphetamine
• Benjamin Eric Miles: Two counts of distribution of methamphetamine
• Gregory Lee Risaliti: Three counts of distribution of methamphetamine, greater than 100 grams
• Pamela Sue Risaliti: Two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, greater than 100 grams
• Alisha Nicole Vaughn: Distribution of fentanyl and distribution of cocaine
• Claude Donnell Woods Sr.: Distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of cocaine, distribution of marijuana and possession of a firearm while distributing schedule I/II narcotics
• Trey Lee Fink: Possession of methamphetamine
• Samuel Wayne Deal: Possession of ortho-methylfentanyl
• Cassandra Dawn Foster: Possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine
• Stephen Jermaine Gravely: Possession of methamphetamine
• Troy Demarcus Motley: Possession of cocaine
• Donavon Andreaus Nibblett: Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl and felony eluding
• Cecilia Dianna Robertson: Possession of methamphetamine
• Brittany Nicole Shelton: Possession of methamphetamine
• Elizabeth Anne Swinney: Possession of fentanyl

“Those who choose to sell and distribute illegal drugs in Henry County should understand that we are going to continue coming after you,” Sheriff Wayne Davis said in a news release. “Our investigators will continue identifying those responsible, building strong cases and working with our Commonwealth’s Attorney to hold them accountable.”

The Patrick County Sheriff’s Office, Martinsville Police Department and Virginia State Police assisted.

The sheriff’s office said additional updates will be released as people are located, arrested and served with their indictments.

An indictment is a formal accusation of a crime and is not evidence of guilt.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
