MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — A stolen vehicle alert from a Flock camera led to two arrests Wednesday morning, according to Acting Chief of Police Major Chad Rhoads.

At around 11:52 a.m. on October 9, Martinsville Police received an alert from a Flock camera located in the Lowe’s parking lot on Commonwealth Boulevard in Henry County indicating a possible stolen vehicle.

Officers located and stopped the vehicle, a 2015 Honda Accord, in the 900 block of North Memorial Boulevard.

Police identified the driver as Anthony Wright, 63, of Martinsville, who was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

The passenger, Tammy Lynn Rose, 48, of Martinsville, was arrested and charged with possession of a stun gun by a convicted felon.

Rhoads said the vehicle had been reported stolen in Henry County and was returned to its owner.

    1. Robert, a Flock camera is a camera that reads license plates and helps law-enforcement with cases such as this. It doesn’t take pictures of anything but license plates, no faces or anything like that. These cameras are linked somehow to inner county shares department.
